  15. <p>     DIED. GOTTFRIED REINHARDT, 81, movie producer, director and
  16. writer; in Los Angeles. Son of legendary German theater and
  17. film director Max Reinhardt, Gottfried Reinhardt arrived in
  18. Los Angeles from Berlin in 1932 and established himself as a
  19. screenwriter. In 1951, he produced the Civil War epic The Red
  20. Badge of Courage, directed by John Huston. The '50s saw the
  21. start of his directing career, capped by the 1960 joint German-American
  22. film Town Without Pity.
